This is a slide from my mental illness/health presentation for kids at local schools. You can click through and share any or all of the slides below. When we talk openly about mental illness it reassures people if they have any concerns, and helps to remove stigma. This fosters open communication, which makes people more likely to feel safe and ask for help. This is critical for children and teens.
My talk was designed for grades 6-8 but let me know if you’d like one catered to younger or older students. Also let me know if you’d like me to visit your school and give this presentation, filled with my experiences and personal anecdotes, or have any questions about any of my slides.
